We run what we build
Hosting, releases, backups and monitoring stay with us. When a client system went offline we restored it from an off-site backup and checked the row counts, rather than just checking it booted.
The rules live in the code
Whatever governs your sector, we encode it. On a food platform an item with incomplete allergen data cannot be listed or sold, and a build fails if invented urgency copy appears anywhere in it.
Private and independent
No analytics, trackers or third-party fonts on the public sites we ship. Uploaded photos lose their location data on the way in.
The truth about status
Where our project board and the real system disagree, the system wins and the board is corrected. You get the same straight answers about your project.
Boring technology, on purpose
We choose tools your next developer will already know, and nothing that locks you to a vendor you cannot leave.
- Interface
- TypeScript, React and Next.js for the web; Flutter for iOS and Android from one codebase.
- Server
- Node with typed, validated APIs. PostgreSQL by default, with migrations that run without downtime.
- Payments
- Stripe and similar provider-hosted checkouts. Card details never reach our servers.
- Infrastructure
- Docker on servers we manage, or your cloud account. CI on every change, encrypted off-site backups.
